The calc's aren't difficult really, it doesn't get any trickier than pi x r x r for the 2 cylinder areas to compare them, the rest is just measuring distances to centres and hence leverage ratios and then figuring something out that will get you the same overall leverage as the stock set-up. I thought i might design a bit of adjustment into the lever at the cylinder end so i could fine-tune leverage, maybe with an eccentric mounting pin for the pivot and/or 2 or 3 cable anchorage holes at varying radii PERFORMANCE MACHINE PM REAR BRAKE CALIPER KIT PERFECT FOR CUSTOM CHOPPERS AND BOBBERS OR ANY APPLICATION THAT REQUIRES A UNIVERSAL MOUNTING KIT. design and fab a lever assembly at the cylinder end (sharing the same mounting plate) calculate the leverage, bearing in mind the different cylinder size and hand lever ratio ![]() operate the master cylinder by cable using an old-style clutch lever (using the short cable for a mousetrap clutch) use an old-style rear master cylinder (but for disc, not drum!) mounted on a plate fixed to the front downtubes, near the top or fab your own - this is something i've been thinking about for a while for my bobber but didn't get around to it yet my basic idea is this: E - 1 Single EGT Set C - 1 Single CHT Set EC - 1 EGT & CHT Sets : EAC - 1 EGT & CHT & OAT E - 4 4 - Cylinder EGT Set C - 6 6 - Cylinder CHT Set C - 4 4. There was a bike featured there with the set up you're talkin' about. It's been a few years since I posted that and I'd have to pull my spare switches to check them again but I think i said you could solder the wire lead for the brake onto the left PCB as well.Go to and check it out. You would have to add 2" of wire to the hand control and then stuffing that all in would be a challenge. However I realized theoretically you can do it although the harness is going to upside down and I font think you have enough slack in the wiring to make it fit. That way once you pull the lever a bit brake lights come on. The wire slides in and out and you need to move it out until brake lights turn off, slide it in slowly until brake light turn on then back off real slow until lights are off again and tighten the set screw. It may be broken or missing causing you issues. The wire is connected to the switch and the magnet is glued into the control. Snapped it right in half I managed to find it on the shop floor and glued it back on. So I broke the magnet that is mounted on the hand control. ![]()
